Not all king crab is the same. Our Alaskan Red King Crab legs are extra large and fresh from the Bering Sea, caught this season. Considered “colossal,” they average about one pound per leg. After being caught in the oceans of Alaska, our king crab is cooked, frozen, and brine glazed. It is ready to eat when thawed, and can be heated by steaming, warming in the oven, baking, or broiling. It only takes 4 to 8 minutes to reheat if it is fully thawed when doing so. Be careful not to overcook your fresh and wild Alaskan king crab so the amazing texture and taste is not lessened.
Red king crab meat is white with streaks of red and is amazingly sweet, moist, succulent, and rich. Red king crab is one of the largest species of crab: high in protein, yet low in calories and fat, king crab is a great choice for a healthy diet.
NOTE: Quantities are limited, and crab season is over in November. Order now to secure king crab for your special event this holiday or New Year.
