Sablefish or Black Cod Asian Marinade


1 cup soy sauce

¾ cup sweet cooking rice wine

1 tbs. fresh shredded ginger

1 ½ tsp. chopped garlic

1 ½ tbs. Sesame Oil

4 tbs. brown sugar

(This makes, a lot of marinade, can use on other fish as well)


Place all ingredients inside a zip-lock bag & shake to mix.
Marinate fish for at least 30 minutes (or longer, depending on
personal taste).
Turn bag over several times for maximum coverage.

Spray baking pan or sheet with non-stick cooking spray or oil.
Place fish on pan & bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees for 12-14
minutes or until meat almost pulls apart. Remove
fish from oven, switch oven to broil & garnish fish with chopped green onions & sesame seeds.
Return pan to middle rack of oven & broil for another 2-4 minutes
until top is brown and slightly crispy.
